Steve grew up on a Century Farm just south of Grinnell. He enjoyed farm life working alongside his dad and grandpa in the fields or with livestock, mostly hogs and horses. Steve then earned a Communications degree from the University of Iowa and met his wife, Amy. They settled in eastern Iowa raising four children with one still at home. Steve’s career began in construction as an independent tile setter and then as a General Contractor building custom residential homes before moving into the real estate side of things. Steve loves working with people and helping them navigate the buying and selling process to reach their goals. Steve joined the High Point team to utilize his extensive real estate knowledge and his love for the beautiful fields and forests of Iowa. Many of Steve’s former clients are now lifelong friends.
